A few years ago we were taking a stroll through the Chinese Garden of Friendship in Sydney's Darling Harbour when one of the workers there asked the girls if they would like to try on some traditional Chinese dresses. The girls loved it that time and have been asking to go back ever since.

So, just three years later we decided to revisit this magical place and this time we also took a friend with us.

It only takes a few minutes (and $5 per person) to get the dress and the headpiece on, and then you can go for a walk, pretend play or just relax in the garden as long as you like. Here is a cheap and super fun school holidays activity right here for you!

Just add some splashing in the fountains and a few scoops of gelato after - and the day is a great success!

Well it turned out photographing two very active dogs can be almost as challenging as photographing two year olds... almost! But we managed to get a few shots, check them out below! Love the smiley doggy faces!

Just look at this face- he is clearly making fun of us!
